Beautiful suite. Great staff. Great food.
Nice room. Fairly well appointed. A/C not terribly cold, the ceiling fan was set on the lowest setting up on a 12 foot ceiling with no way to increase the speed. The coffee station had nothing but cold coffee and cold "hot water" apparently not replaced since breakfast (the room manual states there is hot coffee in the lobby 24/7). The reception dinner or snack had barely anything salad and soup and chunks of bread and a little bit of lemonade and water to drink. I don't drink beer and wine and with cold coffee, the choices were slim. No huge deal, but if you've ever stayed at the Homewood Suites in Slidell, LA, this one here in Hagerstown, MD will leave you sorely disappointed. Mostly OK, just not as good as other HS. The ladies at the desk were polite and cheery. Always appreciated.
I haven’t stayed here but we have our monthly Hagerstown Civil War Round Table Meeting here and the meeting facilities are great. The staff that prepare the room and the meal are just the best. They serve dinner to guests in to lobby. Our guest speakers sometimes stay here and the rates are good for the area.
For the price, I was very surprised! The room was quite nice and the staff was fantastic. There's also a wonderful Sushi place right down the street.....BONUS!
My apartment was recently burnt in a fire, and this hotel gave my family excellent service and a very practical room. It was easy to communicate with the staff whenever we had issues or needed things for our room. The daily breakfast buffet and evening spreads were awesome as well! Would definitely recommend staying here!
