I was in town for a wedding, and needed a last minute reservation. I called for a room, and the person at the desk said there were none available. I then checked a hotel website and reserved one of the several rooms it said we're available. When I arrived I had no issues checking in. I don't know what the issue was when I called but I was rather displeased that I had to force my way into a reservation... The hotel itself was beautiful. Very clean rooms, nice decor. I did notice that there were a few small issues with my accommodations; the paint on the bathroom door was peeling, and one of the locks on the doors too the room appeared to have been forced open at some point, and then reattached without painting over or filling in where the lock had previously been mounted. The next morning, I arrived to the breakfast area at least a half hour before breakfast was over and was very dissapponted with the pitiful selections that were available. I feel like I got my moneys worth, but the overall the experience was somewhat dissapponting.
I stayed here for two months.. Problem after problem.. Bugs everywhere. A 19 year old kid was shot and killed in the hallway. Pool is hardly open. Breakfast is trash. And no respect at all from employees.. Also had to change rooms three times cause of bed bugs..
This hotel sucks the rooms need to be refurbished. Receptacles loose in walls.Baseboard falling off. Ceiling has dirt on it. The window drapes are ripped. Shower curtain has holes in it. Should I go on? Oh yes the bedspread has holes.The walls are covered with dirt. UNBELIEVABLE
A decent stay for a great price. Rooms are decent and the pool area is nice. We did not have reservations and based off other reviews we asked to see the rooms prior to staying. The room met our expectations for a budget hotel. Our room was clean and in decent condition. You will not find a poolside room in this price range anywhere else in town. This is not the Clarion it used to be but is a great budget friendly stay.
I have been to this hotel every year for a company holiday party for the past 5 years and this is the worst visit EVER. Disgusting! The first problem was they had plumbing issues on the 1st fl so all guests will be on the 2nd fl. Lies-The VP and a few others we spoke to at the party rooms were on the 1st fl. After reading the bed bug review I figured it was a pest control issue. Now on to our room. Bed linen was partly white and partly dingy, roaches all over the room. I think we killed about 8. We were offered a new room but declined afraid of what we'd encounter next. If 1 room has roaches the whole place does. We kept everything off the floor and closed. Needless to say the company will be finding a new place to hold the holiday party next year.
