I have never really had a "medical experience" with Thomas but have definitely experienced his arrogance! If I had to rate his attitude it would definitely be a ZERO.
It has been several years. They didn't have on-line reviews back then, so, I decided to write one now. I took a high speed spill on a bicycle and dislocated the radial head in my right elbow and broke both sides off of the radial head, (I think that is what the ball and socket like joint is called,) and I broke the bone next to it - really messed up my arm. Dr. Amalfitano came to the ER and put my arm in a sling. They could not operate for 10 days because I had a really dirty abrasion wound with dirt and crud ground into it right where the doctor would need to cut to operate. They had to wait until that wound healed enough that no dirt and germs would get into the incision. I saw another doctor in the same office a few days before surgery and he said "We will try to give you as much motion and as little pain as possible." That did not sound good. Dr. Amalfitano said all his colleagues said they were glad he was the one doing the operation instead of them. The operation took 4 hours. I give myself some credit for the outcome because I exercised the arm considerably more than the therapist instructed and I did not like the rental device that was supposed the help straighten the arm, so, I made my own. The outcome is I have full normal range of motion with my arm. The hold your arm out and turn it palm up and palm down is supposed to be the hardest thing to get back but I have 100%. The only thing I lost is a few degrees on holding my arm out straight. It isn't quite as straight as the other. No loss of function. No pain of any kind. No trouble. I am 100% satisfied with the outcome of a difficult repair job. If there were going to be any problems later, I would know it by now.
