When Dr. Foster left, for an unknown reason, I was no longer able to fill prescriptions, and his replacement doctor never returned several emails I had sent to him. It became a huge mess. The results of my "radio frequency ablation were great for pain relief, though!
My wife was referred here from the orthopedic specialist about a month ago. She was seen by PA Frey on her visit. She was given an option of shots in her back for temporary relief then surgery or just surgery. Well she told him just schedule the surgery. Well that was well over 4 weeks ago . We called the insurance company to see if they even called them for surgery approval , the insurance company had No record of any paper work being filed or any communication from the Dr's office.I hope all your patients don't get treated this way. I'm not sure what's the problem with this office but what a waste of time.
Dr. Foster is the first doctor to take my pain seriuosly. She listened and evaluated. She then started to try and relieve the pain and come-up with a plan quickly.
Physician Assistants are "just that" assistants! Don't make me waste my time with them. If the Doctor doesn't haven't time for their patients, then get rid of the doctor!!! Assistants "should know" how many hours are in a day and how many days are in week! Surgeon screw-ups and employees "RUDE" behavior should "NOT" be tolerated by company, but apparently are!!! One (1) employee at checkout is a God sent!!!
The results of my treatment were great. However, getting ahold of them outside an appointment was near impossible. They forgot a key piece of information when billing my insurance. I called to have it corrected on several occasions, but was never told that my doctor was no longer employed there. Because of that, no other doctor would vouch for my procedure being "medically necessary" and I therefore was stuck with the entire bill of almost $2,000. Notes that I had left for the doctor were never picked up from his physical mailbox in Chambersburg, and they could never tell me where he was (he worked from 3 different locations in Pa. and Md.)
Very attentive and courteous. Glad the Frederick office is open as it's very convenient. Staff takes the appropriate time to listen and keep patient engaged at every level of the procedure.
