Great place people are very nice. The shows are good and not a bad seat really.

Unfortunately, after driving over 2 hours to go to the theatre we were very disappointed. The food was mediocre and barely warm. Unfortunately the acting wasn't much better. Not expecting professional level acting but more than bad accents and over dramatic death scenes. Nice thought for a night out, but not worth the money. Left after Act one.
I'll give this place 4 stars. My fiance and I are directors, writers, and actors ourselves, and we have attended several dinner theaters. We had a lot of fun here. The food was good for the price and the show was fun and funny.
Friends took me to see a Christmas Carol. The food was good, the show was great. Solid acting and wonderful singing. I highly recommend seeing a performance here.
The other reason is more thespian in nature. The two main characters were really good, but some of the things the cast attempted could have been better. It definitely felt better than a normal community theater though. I won't get into specifics of my thoughts because the show was good and I want people to understand that my message to them in this review is:
4 stars for two reasons. They are limited by the size of their buffet, which can only accommodate 5-6 people at a time, so it takes a long time to get everyone fed before the show starts. We were there for 5 hours. Again, it was an enjoyable 5 hours, but a long trip back home from Hagerstown as well.
Go visit the Washington County Playhouse because it's a good time at a good price.
