Didn't pick up their phone for over an hour before closing 5/21/17. Doesn't have after hours drop off. WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DELT WITH! Not worth it.
My flight arrived early at the Bangor Airport in Maine. I was told that my economy car would not be ready for at least 2 hours! The customer service representative was rude and extremely flippant. She tells me that for $11 more dollars a day she can give me a higher grade car. I told her I would check with the other rental car vendors and let her know since I already paid over $300 for the economy car through Budget. She hollers across the room at the girl in the Hertz area and says" You don't have any economy cars do you ". The girl looks confused and says I guess not. This is called a BATE AND SWITCH! I payed for the upgrade at Budget and get an Avis car. While I am walking to my car I notice 5 economy cars parked in Avis slots! They are both owned by the same company. When I returned the car the same customer service representative was at the cubical waiting on another person and the customer was also having to pay for an upgrade. The customer service representative wouldn't make eye contact with me. I get the disgusted look and a finger point to a metal box that says key drop. I WILL NEVER EVER RENT FROM BUDGET OR AVIS EVER AGAIN! NO BARGAIN! I truly got what I paid for..... lousy service from someone who obviously doesn't like her job.

My rental vehicle was listed on the rental form as being "full " of gas. It was not. When I got to the vehicle and found that it was only half full I went back to the rental counter and could not find the agent. I called the Dudget national number and was told that only the initial rental agent could change the rental - I tried calling the agent at least a dozen times and the phone was never picked up. There was no way to leave a message for the agent. If you rent from this location make sure that your vehicle is full of gas and also check your mileage out - the rental form that I got has the mileage out listed as about 300 more miles than were currently on the vehicle.. The agent was pleasant and the rental price was reasonable. The agents at the receiving end were pleasant and helpful - I will rent from Budget again, but I will make sure that the next time I do that the agent checks the vehicle with me before I leave the termina.
