I used to love this place until today. It was very busy with a very long line so we waited there for a couple of minutes and a worker told us we could sit down so we did. she asked us what we wanted to drink and a older man came up to us and told us to get up because we cut the line. This was not the case at all. We were told to sit down by an employee. He proceeds to get in my face and bang on the table and tell the employee to get us out of there. The manager comes in and blames the host which wasn't even present at the time we sat down. So I told her we were just going to leave because I was so livid and she says "ok?" with no apology. Very poor manager skills to say the least and I do not put the blame on the employee at all she was very sweet and took the blame for telling us to sit. In all, the environment was so negative with very angry customers because they couldn't sit right away and mangers who do not know how to handle these kinds of situations.
We stopped in here for lunch. I hadn't been to a Waffle House in a while and we had our dog with us. I liked the fact that we could see her and she could see us from the windows. Access was very easy, ramps, wide doors, no decorations, etc in the way. We were able to sit right down. We were pleasantly surprised with the food as well. Our hamburgers were very good and I ordered a salad that was only like $3.50 and was plentiful. Service was great. The waitress knew her stuff. We will return here again.
Food was good. Been in a lot of Waffle Houses throughout the country. This is by far the slowest service we have gotten. Employees would rather talk to each other, than help guests. Our food came quickly, once placed. It took 15 minutes to place the order but the kicker was not getting our drinks,coffee, until our meals were served 25 minutes into the service.
Excellent WaHo. I thoroughly enjoy the staff and the food. Josie was our server today and she is great!
