Dog park is well kept and always full of friendly people and dogs. The pack walk meets there occasionally on weekends if you would like to join.
The dog park here is the nicest dog park I've ever been to. The regular dogs are well behaved and polite, the regular people are socialable and friendly. Have only had problems twice, where other people's dogs started fights with or hurt my dog, and I had to leave. Should be some enforcement of the rules against aggressive dogs in the dog park.
I can only rate it on the dog park. Which is awesome. Lots of room for dogs to run and sniff and plenty of the other amenities: trees shelter water trash cans and poop bags. Evening is best for other dog interaction.
Love the partial grandstand conversion to a skate park. very cool. Have always loved this place. They held the Hispanic festival this year and it was truly awesome. Hockey field, Grandstands, Skate park. This place is cool.
The rest of the park is also nice. There's a basketball court, soccer fields, nice walking path, and exercise equipment and playground equipment along the way. Very clean and safe.
I love the outdoor hockey rink. I work with HYHA (Hagerstown Youth Hockey Assn) there Thursday nights. Sometimes some less than desirable characters show up, but their bark is usually worse than their bite.
