I have taken my dogs here 4 times now. The first 3 times I took them there was no 10/10 minute time limit so I was able to wash them and pay for the amount of time I used. This time it cut you off at 10 minutes and you had to pay $10 again. With a large dog it’s hard to wash and dry them in 10 minutes. My next issue is that of safety. The information for the dog wash isn’t posted on the window so people can see it from the outside, you have to walk IN TO the dog wash to see it. If both dog washes are full people will try to open the door and walk in. Not only does that make the dogs nervous but it would be VERY easy for a dog on leash to slip out of the door and get HIT ON DUAL HWY! Today as I wash washing one of two dogs someone tried to open the door. In a panic I ran to tell them no and step on my other dogs leash so that she wouldn’t get out and as I did, my other dog who was in the tub tried to jump out of the tub, nearly hanging himself. The prices need to be posted so you can see them from the outside and the doors should have a lock on them so they can be locked from the inside while in use. Lastly, for the price they charged me today it was basically $10/ dog and the shampoo is VERY low quality. I washed my first two dogs at the car/dog wash but after That experience I decided that until they figure out how to make it more secure I wouldn’t be using them again. I took my other two down the street to pet valu and paid $10/dog. Not only was the bath nicer, so were the shampoos, they provided towels AND the air drier actually has hot air instead of freezing cold air.
Cons:
Pros:
- shampoo isnt very good quality and doesn’t smell very good
-the payment/price info isn’t posted where people driving by can see it which causes people to try to enter the dog wash while you’re using it!
Love their pet wash! Clean well maintained facility. Do not use pet wash on left hand side IF you have long haired dogs. Water pressure is significantly less than right side pet wash room; hopefully management will remedy this soon. Only reason we didn't give 5★ rating.
- you have to pay for a terry towel to dry a dog which really isn’t as good as a towel anyways
- water was VERY hot when I used it and the room was 89 degrees even though it was like 30 degrees outside. The water heated up the room that much!
Love the place, take 7 minutes of doing what takes an hour at home. The cleaners they use and the presser washers get all dirt and film off the car. They have an array of brushes and hoses for different parts of you car. Haven't spent more than $7 there in one time.
- location
They have a very nice dog wash area. They are individual rooms which include a high set table for washing your dog. So there's no bending over. It offers different shampoos different drying options and the prices are reasonable. I washed my dog for $8 and I was taking my time. I would recommend this place to wash any type of dog large or small.
- SAFETY! doors don’t lock when in use so people CAN come in (which has happened to me TWICE) and dogs could escape!
- the air drier blows COLD air
Works ok, but there is a ten dollar minimum, which is fine, however, the machine cut off after ten minutes, forcing me to buy another ten minutes just to dry my dog. Also, the water is warm, which is good, but the air to dry is cold... It's nice to not have to make a mess at my own house, but I think I'll risk it next time...
- Quick and easy wash with parking right outside the door
